@uhu does your employer have a Trustpilot page yet ? :D

Apparently he's still leaving retaliatory trustpilot reviews against his customers (at least as of four months ago) but now it reads like he's having AI write them for him, lmao.

  • Bonus, apparently he's still terminating accounts, too; someone posted this on reddit two days ago:

FWIW... JUST had a very negative experience. Been an MXROUTE customer for years with no issues. Received a "TERMINATION NOTICE" from them today. No explanation, no ability to capture my data/configuration. My multiple domains, emails, and associated information - GONE. I responded to the email (Thankfully it was not hosting the email it was created on), asking NICELY what occured (I assumeed it was in error). No response -- just blocked my email from sending anything further to them. While I'm pissed I needed to shift all email to another platform, I'm THOROUGHLY pleased to never give them another penny. Good luck to anyone who chooses to use them. The rug-pull is real.

One more interesting post from a while back I saw, claiming Jar has a second stealth trustpilot account he's doing retaliatory reviews on:

A close friend of mine that I used to work with had a similar experience.

He signed up for MXroute’s email services after buying a lifetime deal and had nothing but terrible interactions with the owner. He was ignored via support tickets, talked down to when they finally did respond, and then his service was cancelled by the owner.

So he left a bad review on TrustPilot to warn others of his experience.

What did the owner (Jarland) do? He left two negative reviews for my buddy’s “business” even though he never received any services from them, one from his own personal account and one from some other account with no other reviews.

The funniest part is that my buddy literally just register a business and domain as a learning experience in web development, which is why I put it in quotes.

He never actually opened the business or had any customers, so it was very obvious that the second review was from Jarland (which he denied).

Even after my buddy responded to his reviews on Trustpilot to let him know that he’s just wasting his time, he didn’t let up and edited his original review to double down.

He also submitted “proof” to Trustpilot so that his retaliatory reviews remained up, which was bullshit considering it was a one sided transaction. My buddy told me that he probably used the invoice generated from when he signed up for their services as that was the only thing with his business name on it tying them together.

Like OP, we found out that Jarland actually has a habit of doing this to anyone who makes the mistake of signing up for his email services with a business related email. So it doesn’t surprise me one bit that he was willing to go nuclear and track someone down via their employer. Just goes to show the lengths that this guy is willing to go through when he is butt hurt.

Been using MXroute, but I've reached the conclusion after losing a few legit mails that the service is unreliable because emails crossing their default spam threshold of 15 are permanently discarded with zero notifications, bounces, or spam folders. Since their removal of the spam folder, legitimate mail is nuked entirely if a sender's shared server triggers third-party blocklists, with no way to recover it. It's safe to assume I've lost many more emails that were silently vaporized as false positives with no trace. Time to find another mail provider.

Odd for me to defend Jar, but I don't see what the complaint is. You pick a threshold to delete at. If the default is too low for you, increase it. That goes for any email system.

Again, this goes for any email system using a RBL.

Now, on the other hand, Jar had a single rule that scored something ridiculous (I forget if it was 50 or 250, but way above any rational threshold) and it was being triggered by genuine emails. I got kicked out of his Discord for querying the rationale behind having a single rule score that highly. But Jar knows best.

You have to give him credit for being completely honest about bulk closing tickets tough. No bullshit, tells it like it is, totally Jar. Would not expect anything else from him, he might not always have the best attitude but he's not a liar.
And to be fair he does have a point. If a ticket has not been touched for almost two years it's probably solved or no longer an issue, or the customer has moved on. Going trough them would be a complete waste of time that can be better spent elsewhere.

Do I think it's the correct way to handle tickets and customer support? No, I do not. This should never have been an issue in the first place, having year old unanswered tickets is already a major fuckup. If this is his way to get support back on track, I wish him luck and hope he does better from now on.

Are win the same thread? he said on reddit there has been no issue with tickets, all human answered, then directly says the opposite only to those that had tickets open years ago.

That is lying my friend, straight and simple.

Yeah, my ticket hadn't been resolved, the issue still affects the server (possibly all of them?) and I'm still a customer (no longer actively using the service). But apparently I'm a whinger for mentioning any of this on here.

You're missing the crucial distinction, the problem isn't having a threshold, it's what happens at that threshold.
Every standard email provider sends threshold crossers to a spam folder or quarantine so you can review false positives and choose delivery, however mxroute permanently deletes them with zero notification, bounce, or recovery path. Turning an arbitrary spam score into an invisible, unrecoverable shredder isn't normal email handling, it's a massive design flaw.

Fair point on the RBL, shared servers do get listed. But that's the input to the score, not the consequence of crossing it. Gmail, M365, etc. all use RBLs too, they just quarantine rather than silently destroy.

No, it's not. If you actually listen to what he says instead of jumping to your own conclusions, he does not lie.

If you do not like the way he works, I suggest you change provider. Jar is not going to change.

I've never heard him say that so I can not answer for that.

What he said in his reddit post has been misinterpreted like a million times already so I'm not even going there. I'm not trying to defend the guy, he clearly has issues and is somewhat of a dickhead, but I must say that people really go trough everything he says with a fine tooth comb just to find something to attack him for. Most of the time he deserves it, but the guy gets chewed up even when trying to do good things.

I have no idea what you are reading that I'm not, but what you say and what I have seen Jar say are two different things so I'm not even going to try to debate with you.
If you have a problem with Jar, don't buy his services. The guy got attitude like a handgrenade and is a big douchebag and not everybody can handle that, no shame in that. Jar does not fly by "the customer is always right" paradigm and this pisses a lot of people off so threads like this come and go on a regular basis.
I have no problem with people calling him out for being a total asshole and harassing people that leaves reviews, I will gladly even help with that, but calling him a liar for closing tickets when he clearly went public and said "I'm closing tickets" is just snowflake behavior and I have zero empathy with that.

IMHO - deleting emails is a horrible default behavior. Put them in a spam folder, but don't perma-nuke emails..... unless it's blatantly stupid shit like "increase your penis size with this miracle pill" or "I CAUGHT YOU JERKING OFF"..
