[Request] Minecraft VPS – 2+ vCPU / 8GB RAM / 50GB SSD – ~$10/month – High Single-Core Performance

Hi everyone!

I'm looking for an affordable VPS to host a modded Minecraft Java Edition (Forge) server.

I'm currently using an OVH VPS with 4 vCPUs and 8GB RAM, but its single-thread performance is not sufficient for my server.

Requirements:
- CPU: 2+ vCPUs (high single-thread performance is the priority)
- RAM: 8GB or more
- Storage: 50GB+ SSD/NVMe
- Location: Any region is fine
- OS: Linux
- Budget: Around $10/month (some flexibility)
- Use case: Modded Minecraft (Forge) server

Single-thread performance matters much more to me than the number of vCPUs. A VPS with 2 fast Ryzen cores would be preferable to one with 4 slower cores.

For reference, my current OVH VPS has the following Geekbench 6 results:

• CPU: Intel Haswell (virtualized)
• Single-Core: 654
• Multi-Core: 2111

If you're a provider, please include your CPU model, monthly price, and any available benchmark results.

Does anyone have any recommendations or good deals?

U should check out Greencloud they have a ton of locations and will probably just fit in spec range with one of their offers. They might have an anniversary coming up soon I cant remember so if u check u might be worth waiting.

Delux is nice price wise but the cpu score is lower than their current vps iirc

edit ye it was lower the last time i tested them

T & Q Series may have hope tho its a EPYC 7551P & Ryzen 9 7950X / 7950X3D it jus depends on how oversold it is

For just a single modded server, shared hosting with Pterodactyl will likely be cheaper and offer better hardware.
