LayerOne promo VPS benchmark and review [4+/5]

Recently I came across a promo on LET from @LayerOne in Tampa, Florida and found it interesting, so I purchased their 'gc.nano' package. I don't know though whether their promo pricing is recurring; I hope they'll clarify that in their thread.
Btw. the monthly traffic volume is 2TB and the bandwidth is 2.5 Gb/s (shared I presume).

Here's the results, as usual based on 30+ runs and 24+ hours.

WOW! Not the best ever seen but really very, very good, read: fast! Well over 40 MB/s and solidly above 10 kIOps isn't something that's common on a cheap VPS, yay!

But of course that really nice and well performing VPS isn't worth much without really good connectivity! So, let's see

Europe - very decent results, in fact better than many from e.g. NYC or WDC I've seen - and this FL VPS does have a long leg from Fl up to many, and all european, destinations!

Asia/Oceania - That's obviously the weak side for a us-american VPS. Lacking solid and plenty experience there I won't comment, except for mentioning that I looked at all their routes and saw very good carriers (e.g. GSL, twelve99, etc) and really decent routes to pretty much every target across the Pacific. But users mainly focusing on Asia highly likely would look for a VPS on the West-Coast anyway.

Africa - somewhat above average I'd say.

Americas - Yay, that's where this VPS's connectivity shines. Of course, its strong side is the East-Coast and the South-East but in fact even the results to e.g. LAX (ca. 180 Mb/s) and Seattle (ca. 150 Mb/s) are really decent!
What impressed me most though were the results to Brazil and Chile (ca. 90 Mb/s!).

Summary/verdict: A very nice VPS Indeed, in particular at the promo price. Extra kudos to LO for not skimping on their upstream & routing!
For a mid-size web-site with a DB I'd have a very serious look at their higher end offers (e.g. 2 vCores, 4 GB , 60 GB NVMe) because this VPS is well balanced and good in all elements and also comes with anti-DDOS, but see below (traffic volume).

4+ out of 5 - Recommended!

(the small minus is the IMO "meager" traffic volume. Had they offered 3 TB it would have been a 5-/5 and with 5 TB I would have given a straight 5/5)
