They refused the fact that they ballooned their VDSes and overcommited nodes

Then they cannot be upset if you blocked the balloon driver.

So deleting the ballooning module indeed worked but now i wonder would they suspend me for it but at this point i dont even care

Hello everyone here is an short update about what is the current situation:

    • They refused the fact that they ballooned their VDSes and overcommited nodes and they doubled down saying and i quote "Expecting substantially higher performance than the specifications of the entry-level package does not mean that the allocated resources are missing or that the service is defective. We already informed you that, if your workload requires more CPU or RAM capacity, you should upgrade to a more suitable package." which is crazy because my workloads were personal projects which is enough for me if it wasnt taken by the host
    • I'm still in doubt about their WHMCS because WHMCS license check on musteri.verunix.com
and im indeed sure it is WHMCS because when i looked at their CSS file they loaded into the client side there was proofs of the panel being WHMCS
      http://cdn.null.org.tr/STORAGE/cdn_cache_1791107043_image.png

WHMCS licence check is known to be unreliable

https://cdn.null.org.tr/STORAGE/cdn_cache_1791107043_image.png < this basically shows a custom theme, nothing wrong with custom themes or addons, thousnds of them out there.

They have have done something wrong with your server, now they refuse to acknowledge this you appear to be jumping to anything to create more drama rather sticking to the issue.

I fail to see how a company cannot oversell at the prices, anyone can see that

Under $2 a month and you think they will give you

2 vCPU and 2GB ram, 30GB NVME and 1Gbit port and you won't have issues ?

Hello, i would like to make some comments on your point of view
If an company cannot sell VDSes for that cheap without breaking the meaning of Virtual Dedicated Server they simply shouldnt sell in that price range or they should sell it as VPS there is an clear breach of contract situation.
For the WHMCS theme, i put the screenshot there to show one thing and that was the commented area
    Translated text in the screenshot:

    /* ==========================================================================
VERUNIX — WHMCS DESIGN SYSTEM (v3, "spacious / premium card" aspect)
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Loading order (includes/head.tpl):
    all.min.css (Bootstrap 3) -> verunix-theme.css -> custom.css
This file: tokens + all basic components + accessibility + mobile.
    custom.css: page-specific fine-tuning only.

    Rules:
    - Header and footer templates DO NOT BE TOUCHED. Only #main-body,
.modal, .sidebar and theme containers are targeted.
    - Keep specifics low; !important is only used when it is necessary to override inline <style> blocks in header.tpl / head.tpl. =========================================================================== */

And there we can see the musteri.verunix.com uses an WHMCS and ill admit i shouldve explained more about why i put the screenshot as a proof the host uses WHMCS also yes indeed WHMCS can misdetect the licensing verification when i asked the provider about this issue they avoided the question multiple times so thats why the WHMCS issue is here in this topic.

yes it's become standard here that providers can say whatever the fuck they want to get your money and you're just an idiot for taking them seriously.

what can you do really except stop buying from providers that operate or endorse operating that way.

I was curious if VDS can mean CPU cores only to some hosts, but their own page says CPU and RAM, but uses 8GB for some reason on their page in the example. That seems odd and specific, but I'm using translation.

What package do you have and when did you open a ticket?

For something like this, don't start out accusatory, just make it sound like maybe a mistake was made and it was a VPS package by accident and you'd appreciate them checking on it because from your end that's what it appears as.

It was an VDS specifically TR-SSD-01 from https://verunix.com/en/vds-server
Also i've made sure that my argument is correct and indeed there is ballooning

You do everything right and still some random idiot comes here to lecture you on how you should

... just make it sound like maybe a mistake and blah blah blah blah blah

    Ridiculous.

Sometimes your better option is to deal with Turkish people, here's an example.

Say, you fell in love with some very nice adidaz sneakers and you are in western europe. Adidaz cannot be sold there because the adidas morons won't let it so what do you do? You get them from Turkey, of course!

And the provider is being confrontational and not working towards fixing the issue. So... my point was correct.

Fuck off. You've been zero help.

Amusingly, there's only one provider I have a VPS with that is aggressively using memory ballooning, and it's also Turkish.

  • I think most turkish providers using VDS term to their VPS, btw do you have yabs by any chance to their vds/vps?

Man, you go from anal retentive to anal expulsive very fast.

How do you pull that off?

You'd have a point, except his whole website goes on about how VDS is different than VPS because of the dedicated resources and that's why they charge more.

  • So hello everyone i have a bit more update,
first i believe verunix indeed saw this post and still sees this yet refuses to acknowledge they ballooned clients VDS resources and as so called "proof" they've sent this: https://imgur.com/Hibe0aS which i find it very amusing for 1 particular reason and that is they twisted what i said which is very concerning because i started to think he has some brain disability that makes it difficult for him to understand and accept the truth. About unauthorized WHMCS after i asked them multiple times about this they dogded the question so i had enough and reported it to WebPros group and told about my report take a wild guess what they said? Thats right they took that as an threat too and i quote "if you genuinely seek assistance, you should request it without resorting to threats." i guess doing the right thing is now an threat
well gentelmans ill be probably stop buying vpses for transit and just use route64.org if you guys have any recommendations for ipv4 transit around netherlands let me know
