Ceph with aes256k on Ubuntu 26.04

Hi all!

Is there a way to get a Ceph version with aes256k keys in Ubuntu 26.04?

I have a Ceph cluster to which a Ubuntu client connects to, but the Ceph version in Ubuntu repos is 20.2.0, which doesn't support aes256k. Seems like only the upcoming Ceph version (vampire) will support Ubuntu 26.04, so no official packages yet.

Neither the Proxmox Ceph repos (which are for trixie) nor the official Ceph repos for noble/24.04 are compatible (missing package dependencies/conflicts which I didn't look deeper into).

Has anyone by chance solved the same issue?
