The Ryzen 5900XT with 32GB and a 512GB NVMe would make a great Detroit test node, and it is good to see IPMI plus full root access included so it works like a proper dedicated box. After 15+ years in business and facilities like CoreSite and Digital Realty, this is one of the more credible giveaways on LET. Thanks for running it - count me in for the draw!

We really appreciate the support and the feedback. Good luck in the draw.

  • Count me in for the giveaway! Thanks for hosting this. Good luck everyone!

  • Count me in please! I'd mostly use it as a build/test box for a few self-hosted projects. Thanks BudgetVM for running the giveaway, and good luck everyone.

  • The 5900XT with 32GB and a 512GB NVMe is an interesting spec for a test box —
single-thread speed where it matters, and 512GB is enough to hold a real
working set instead of constantly juggling disk. IPMI plus full root on a
dedicated box is the part I care about most, since that's the difference
between "a VPS that happens to be big" and something I can actually debug
and reinstall when I break it.

Question: on the 1Gbps unmetered (fair usage) plans, is there a published
threshold for what counts as fair usage, or is it handled case by case?
I'd rather know the line up front than discover it during a big transfer.

Planned use: [a build/test node for my own projects — compiling, running
containers, and benchmarking before I commit to anything bigger].
