    How do people get a 10 Gbps duplex KS-2? The max uplink is 500 Mbps.

    What's advertised and what's delivered are two different things - that's the whole idea behind OVH lotto on here; this only happens on machines which are connected to their older Nexus 5600 switching platform and from speculation is as a result of a misconfigured or not enforced QOS on specific older devices. If you're looking for your 'best chances', KS-STORs are your go to, they come from the old Infrastructure product range days (which used the 5600s back then and new build policy for this skew still seems to be the 5600s where possible/reasonable) otherwise KS-2s but less common on these as they are more recently built and default more to the newer Nexus 9300 platform or 3000 if you're unlucky and don't get 10gbp/s at all. KS-(1/3-5) are all gigabit only skews so not happening here, you may find a KS-1 (converted from an old KS-STOR) with 10gbp/s, but that plus duplex, extremely rare; and all the other products mentioned motherboards physically don't support it. Datacenter wise, Canada is an absolute stronghold for the older switches and deliver the most duplex machines. I've not seen any in Europe in a long time and I do play the lotto often enough aha but that might just be bad luck my side, good luck!

    Seems like I need to take that back aha! Out of interest what rack is that machine located in and when was it deployed? I've not had too many machines in E102 so might be that I simply didn't have enough data before deciding clearly, all mine were E101 (especially duplex) and E103 are Nexus 9300s from my experience so to-specification. I'm very surprised at that, will say!

    Had a KS STOR in GRA 4 x 4, 500Mps Up 10Gbp Down, Grabbed the Erith STOR about 3 months ago taking a chance as I'd not seen one for a while and needed a bit more storage. Would of been happy with standard speed - but got the bonus.

    iperf log clearly showing 8-9Gbps

    are you asking whether you might've got only 9Gbps instead of 10, are you asking whether iperf3 makes up fake numbers, or are you asking whether or not the server is Kimsufi?
