Netcup decided to fully reboot all nodes (instead of live patching or live migration) because CVE-2026-99999 and as everyone with minimal experience could have guessed it's total shitshow. Currently even control panel are down from about 30 minutes, and some VPS servers are unreachable from hours.

yes two servers are up again after one hour downtime...waiting for the others to come....

    From reading:

    • reducing disk is a ToS violation, you have a refund right
    • tos definitely covers this debacle, Alex has the best lawyer

isn’t this only for new orders?

    Yes, it starts with:

Existing contracts remain unchanged (= they will not be increased), and you can still upgrade them at the old price (see "Benefits for existing contracts" for details).

I am so glad I have renewed all my RS G11 iv SE servers with EPYC 9634 cpu, because they are going to be expensive to replace no matter what provider I select.

When they where cheap, I bought multiple and cancelled those with bad GB6 score. The ones I have left has been stable with good performance all the time. Most of them are black friday offers from 2024.

The average price of my RS servers is 50% of the new ones and mine have 4x bigger disks.

It's crazy it can go this much in the wrong direction in only two years.

I have a VPS and one Rootserver with them, they “only” had about 10-20 minutes of downtime each. Weird that they messed it up this much on some of their nodes
