Need 2+ high-quality US-based VPSs

Looking for an established VPS provider with a great reputation and US datacenter(s) to grow with. Doesn't need to be the cheapest, but do need high-quality.

Uncommon requirement:

  • Need to be able to upload custom ISOs to install to our VPSs. The reason is that we use a customized version of FreeBSD.

Standard requirements:

  • VPS server to have redundant hot-swap disks, power supplies, and power uplinks to separate PDUs.
  • Datacenter to have redundant network routers/uplinks and power sources.
  • Staffed 24x7 including response to support tickets. Once we're set up you'll never hear from us unless your service has a problem or we need to order more services, but the rare time there is a problem, we need round-the-clock response.
  • DDoS protection would be good but we've never been DDoS'd so I don't know how critical it is.

VPS specs and price target:

  • $10/mo - 4 modern vcores, 8GB RAM, 100GB disk, 10TB bandwidth, 1gbps port speed, 2 usable IPv4 addresses.
  • $5/mo - 2 modern vcores, 4GB RAM, 50GB disk, 5TB bandwidth, 1gbps port speed, 2 usable IPv4 addresses.

I'm open to paying annually however I'd either want to try the service for a month then switch to annual or have your assurance that if the service doesn't work for us we could be refunded.

Thanks for reading! I'm new here and figuring out the right level of detail to include in requests. Feel free to reply or pm me!

Location was missed in your AI output.

  • @JoshR Pardon? Just US-based, flexible beyond that. If you're implying I used AI to generate the request, I didn't. (thanks though? :D)

I mean a server / vps in middle of Kansas is different than Miami or LA.
All I'm getting at is it helps you/clients if you narrow down your location.
    Let alone your potential providers.

  • For this project it really is as flexible as anywhere in the US. Middle of the US would be ideal but really, I'm flexible.

High demands for low price. I can give you it with double your budget on enterprise hardware with the datacenter, network, and power redundancy you need.
