Rackoona VPS — No internet access, RDP not working (confirmed provider-side issue)

cutu11cutu11 Member

I recently bought a Windows Server 2022 VPS from Rackoona (4 vCPU / 8GB RAM / 80GB SSD, region: ind-asia-del, IP: 160.250.225.29).

I could not connect via RDP at all, so I logged in through their web console to check what was going on.

What I checked:

Network adapter showed "no internet access" (red X on the network icon)
Manually set the static IP as given in their panel (IP, subnet, gateway, DNS) — settings matched correctly
Tried both static IP and automatic (DHCP) — no change
Changed DNS to Google (8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4) — no change
Ran Windows network troubleshooter — it said "DNS server is not responding"

Then I tested with ping from inside the VPS:

ping 160.250.225.1 (gateway)

Result: 100% success, 0ms response time — gateway is reachable fine.

ping 8.8.8.8 (internet)

Result: 100% packet loss, all requests timed out — no internet access at all.

Conclusion: The VM can reach its own gateway perfectly, but the gateway has no route to the internet. This is clearly a routing/network issue on Rackoona's side, not something I can fix from inside Windows.

Has anyone else run into this with Rackoona? I've opened a support ticket with them but wanted to check if this is a known/ongoing issue, especially after seeing an older thread here about people having connection problems with them.
