[WANTED] Residential Hardware Node Hosting (Across USA) - $200/mo/per laptop Stipend
Hello,
I am looking for a technical hobbyist, homelabber, or independent operator located in the USA to physically host a single laptop/mini-PC node on a stable residential internet connection.
The Setup:Hardware: 1x standard laptop (low power draw).Management: Everything is handled entirely out-of-band via an external IP-KVM (PiKVM/BliKVM) and a travel router. Zero software modifications or network configurations are required on your part.
Network Isolation: The setup must be placed on a dedicated, isolated guest VLAN or network segment on your router to ensure total privacy for both parties.
What is Required from You:24/7 power and stable residential internet uptime.Willingness to act as a physical contact to occasionally tap the power button if the device freezes or updates overnight (very rare).A secure, climate-controlled space where the unit can sit undisturbed.
Compensation:Offering a recurring monthly stipend of $50-200 via Crypto/Bank Deposit to cover power, network usage, and your time.If you have a solid homelab setup in anywhere across USA and are interested, please PM me with your neighborhood/general location and your current ISP setup.
Thanks!

Why the hell does the device lock up? I would solve that problem first, before I make that a remote issue^^

People are going to jail for this.
Welcome to LET, how can we help you perform fraud on your behalf?
sounds legit
Fair point! The 'freezing' is mostly a worst-case backup plan. The real issue is that it's a standard laptop - many consumer laptops lack a 'Restore on AC Power Loss' setting in the BIOS. If there is a prolonged local power outage and the laptop battery completely drains, a smart plug won't wake it back up when the power returns. I just need a physical contact who can tap the button if a power outage leaves the node stranded offline.
First, give us reasonable reason to believe why you avoid datacenters Or are you giving us a free trip to Bind Bars ? Sorry, $200. At least i can afford a 16GB ram
No unnecessary chat.
Just tell me yes or no.
