Hey LET,

I am consolidating a multi-VPS production environment (heavy PostgreSQL/PostGIS spatial database, various Docker containers, internal CRM, and background automation workers) onto a single, high-performance US bare-metal host.

Looking for custom quotes, surplus unlisted inventory, or standard deals from reputable, established providers.

Specifications Required:

Location: USA (Central / Kansas City, Dallas, Chicago preferred, but open to East/West for good routing)

CPU: 24+ Physical Cores / 48+ Threads (Dual Xeon E5-v4, Dual Xeon Gold, or EPYC/Ryzen equivalent)

RAM: 128 GB DDR4 (ECC)

Primary Storage: 1x 1TB - 2TB NVMe SSD (For OS, PostGIS database, and live app containers)

Secondary Storage: 1x 4TB+ SATA HDD (For cold backups, raw dataset staging, and media)

IPv4: 1x Primary IPv4 Included

IPv6: /64 IPv6 Subnet (Included)

Bandwidth: 10TB+ on 1Gbps (Unmetered 1Gbps preferred)

Management: Full IPMI / HTML5 KVM access included

DDoS Protection: Basic/Standard inline filtering is fine

Budget: $80 – $110 / month (Recurring)

Billing Period: Monthly (No setup fees)

Notes for Providers:

Must be an established provider with a good track record on LET.

Only looking for DDR4 RAM configurations—no older DDR3 systems, please.

I would check OVH ECO. They have some good offers. I have a server with them and everything has been good so far.

Thanks so much. I actually ended up getting two servers, a low end dedicated bare metal server with OVH for $10 / month and another server with @qps that was a fantastic deal that fit the specs in my post. Shout out to QPS for the great deal

If you need a second server, let me know. We have low end spec servers available in Ashburn (and also in Los Angeles and Chicago if you'd prefer a different location). We are not going to be able to match that price from OVH, but we'll do what we can.

Yeah it was, FANTASTIC deal -- mounted a folder on some other server via NFS to makeup for the fact that this system has barely any storage...

I tell you, this entire self-hosted thing is ADDICTIVE in a positive way... it is definitely a lot of work, but it is all worth it when I look at how much money my small business is saving by going this route and migrating off of various SAAS providers. Even though I have, including this machine, five different machines now, two bare metal and the rest small VPSes, they are worth their weight in gold.

On the @qps server I am building out multiple services that I primarily had on various SAAS providers, it is again, VERY time consuming and a LOT of work, but at the end of the day, the cost savings will not be minor...

What monthly and yearly deals do you have on lower end servers -- I was thinking about getting another low end server during Black Friday from ColoCrossing, but what do you have?
