New Layer One Feature
Hi all, we've been working on a couple of new features for LayerOne
Upload custom ISOs, you can now upload any ISO of your choice and detach and attach them to your device as needed. Every account receives 10GB of ISO storage.
Backups, create snapshots and schedule automatic backups. To activate backups go to Images on the sidebar of your account. You can also deploy a new device from a backup. (Charged at $1.00/10GB of backup storage shared across your account)

We're in the process of switching to Flexenital from WOW as our datacenter provider.
Along with that change we're prepared to roll out routed v6 subnets to our new servers
It'll be done in phases with only new hardware initially being ran at the new facility, eventually we'll transfer over the rest of our equipment to this new facility.

IPv6 is the last thing I'm missing, using it as a remote witness/monitor and IPv6 would be neat to identify issues on dual-stack machines!

I saw your update about migrating from WOW to Flexential as your datacenter provider, with existing equipment being moved over in phases.
Could you give me a rough estimate of when my existing instance (currently on the WOW facility) is expected to be migrated to the new Flexential facility? Even an approximate month in 2026 would be very helpful for my planning.

Anyone else on Tampa1 getting hit by this? My VPS (l1-176-629) has been effectively unusable for several days now - completely unresponsive regardless of whether it's powered on or off, and a reboot currently takes around 30 minutes to complete.
Their status page still lists the disk latency incident as "Identified" with no real progress since it started days ago. Opened a support ticket asking for either a fix or a credit for the downtime - no meaningful response yet, just the same status page text.
Not trying to start a pile-on, genuinely want to know: is this a wider Tampa1 issue or isolated to my node, and has anyone actually gotten a straight answer or a credit out of their support?

The VPS is still intermittently unreachable, both directly and through a VPN. SSH continues to time out, so this is clearly not a local ISP issue.
I also still have an unanswered support ticket, so thank you for at least responding here.
At this point the VPS is not reliable enough to use. I need either:
Keeping the VPS on the same unstable node is not acceptable.
The financial loss is negligible — this VPS costs only $1.89/month — but the issue is reliability and support quality. Small ignored problems become larger reputation problems over time.

Your devices IP address is not seen on the network and ICMP to it times out locally.
we also attempted to arping your device but it is not responding.
It is up and running as seen in VNC without any issues.
Please check your network configuration on your device. We're also willing to take a look at it, please share your device password on the ticket you have opened (use the secure password form) and then reply once complete.
