I am looking for a 1TB + storage for my file hosting service.
We don't accept illegal content—we quickly remove problematic content and always respond to DMCA requests. We are an official company based in Armenia.
Right now, we are looking for 1 TB of cloud storage (and other options) with the possibility to add more space upon request. We already work with some European S3 providers, but the price is too high and the service isn't right for us.
HDDs are fine for us as long as they have SSD caching.
Any recommendations?
P.S. We are not interested in the Asia region.

What's your budget then? Mega S4 will get you 3TB for €15 and free 5x egress.
Bunny.net's storage is also very reasonably priced in my opinion. $0.01-0.02/GB and egress at $0.01/GB in EU/NA.
Hetzner's storage boxes are also dirt cheap: https://www.hetzner.com/storage/storage-box
Intercolo has a good price and we are working with them. But i think we can get cheaper.
If you can use sshfs or FTP you can use a HostBrr storage box.

You can check out our storage servers campaign at SmokyHosts | Free SSD storage drive for OS/Boot with every storage VPS!
Any info about them? first time iam hearing about this host. Any reviews?
I use them for my backup using zerobyte and have had no issues with them.
Still looking, any additional offers from trusted hosters?
https://www.interserver.net/storage/ I have been using them for a few years now with zero issues.
https://synclyz.com/aws3-object-storage: did you check?
Where is Synclyz LTD registered?
No matter what you do, don't get hostbrr. Sorry @labze

Website looks very Hotline Miami.
I highly advise, if your looking for such small space as 1TB. you don't go with any-provider.
Think Mega (Also has S3), GDRIVE (Plenty promo PRO (18-month free 2TB)
I say this as your space requirement is such small, you will not get a good deal managing hosting yourself, it will always be more costly and often less reliable until you have the needs for larger capacity.
https://rclone.org/ is great software, but also has a list of every decent priced cloud storage operator.
As a bonus, removes most of your DMCA concerns, as you will be required to proxy the downloads.
Synclyz apparently is "Trusted by million people"
right..
The storage box YABS for me were all over the place unfortunately. Initially reported very slow, then a sudden increase, then a marginal increase to eventually steadying. It is however expected with cheap shared VPS plans. I can't speak for how over-provisioned Hostbrr is, only assume based on the small margins that they must be operating at that there is over-provisioning and expectation that not all users are filling the entire HDD capacity, nor continually utilizing it.
Nothing necessarily wrong with a VPS with tailscale and Kopia or Restic backups. Yes you can go with the cloud-storage providers but for high volume of small encrypted files on a regular basis GDrive, Onedrive, start to become less appealing. The whole cloud interface bloat isn't a requirement for everyone.
Don't disagree, but OP didn't set out his requirements, or what is being hosted I assumed general files, general traffic and for starting cloud is great.
Once he has 5-10TB, he can expand with much better offers, with much more reliable providers.
For now totally we have over 12 TB in system.
When we trying add new provider, we always choose 1TB, after adding as much, as we need.
So be sure, we know what we are looking for.
Still looking for solution. hostbrr.com support answer me via email, that they can accept us, but not recommend, because they are not sure that can work with us for a long time because of strikes/abuse.
However, we are legal company, and always answering to EVERY abuse, and ALWAYS taking down illegal content.
I really don't know what you are doing using YABS on a storage box service
Cheap: @PulsedMedia väinäi-somesuch (warning: very ai!)
Very good but not cheap (anymore): @host_c (THE storage provider in Europe IMO)
Don't know (nor care) though about S3 support.
What's the issue with YABS on a VPS with shared HDD pool? I typically always run it, to get an idea of uptime, speeds, consistency across time ranges I anticipate using it.
That's the storage box; that's not a regular VPS lol
(The "issue" is that something used purely for storage shouldn't have to be benchmarked to high heavens in order to fill its purpose)
The storage box is not a VPS. I don't know if you meant something else.
Thank you for the mention
@thethe
1 TB will cost you $4/m with 3x Egress included for free, we can also work a deal for unmetered traffic as your project grows
