WTB: US dedicated server for 24/7 parallel compute
Hi everyone,
I’m looking to upgrade from my OVH dedicated server to something more powerful. I would be doing batch workloads with all cores near 100% continuously, no crypto mining.
- 16+ threads
- 32 GB DDR4 RAM, 1 TB SSD
- US only, but East Coast preferred
- Monthly billing
- Budget around $40 to $50 per month
Must confirm: recurring price at the quoted rate, and that sustained full-CPU load is acceptable under your fair use policy.
Currently on a Xeon E-2236 (6c/12t, 32 GB DDR4 ECC) at $30/mo.

I have one; I've already sent it to you.
If setup fee is not a problem then, I would take the KS-6 from OVH. I have one myself and they are great for the price.
Unfortunately, they don't have US location in stock with SSD and from what I have read, sometimes it can be weeks or months before they are restocked.
Your budget is pretty tough, especially given that you are planning to use 100% CPU all the time.
Are you also writing heavily to the SSD?
hmm if Montreal, Canada works for you. This is pretty good for the price. It looks like there is 1 available right now so get it before its sold.
