Server with low latency and high connectivity to china
I'm looking for a vps or a dedicated server with low latency and high connectivity to china.
VZ Type: Any
Number of Cores: 8+
Ram: 16+GB
Disk: 25GB
DiskType:SSD
Bandwidth: 200GB/mth
Port Speed: 50mbps+
Core count is flexible, could probably get away with 4 cores.
Location: Lowest latency to china
Cost: <100 USD/month
For the bandwidth I'd really like a 50mbps connection, currently my monthly bandwidth usage is less then 100gb, so maybe 200gb to account for growth.
I've searched around and plans that have high core count and high ram have way more bandwidth and storage then I need.

Yea, I've got 3 currently deployed servers running for about half a year, with 20GB disks, theyre all sitting at around 60% free.
Sounds like you need a VPS in China.
Yeah, it's something I've considered. Kind of a pita, would need to hardcode the ip address in our software. We tried a few years back and the DNS lasted like an hour or two.

If you don't have a license for operating inside of china, any domain that points to a mainland ip will get poisoned by the GFW

I am curious why not hongkong? I believe it will be around 50ms latency to Beijing from hongkong. Just find a provider with routing with China telecom or china mobile and you are set, i believe I have hongkong vps from Greencloud let me check the routing.
Entirely depending on provider. As an example, my @hosthatch VPS in HongKong does use really decent carriers - but: one and the same good carrier (GSL) does show a good latency (42 ms) to fast-mirror.isrc.ac.cn but for most targets the route goes twice across the Pacific, once (via PCCW) to the murrican West-Coast where it enters a POP of a chinese carrier and is hauled back across the Pacific and finally ends up in China mainland. All in all about 200 ms are added and latency is not good at all (well above 200 ms).
Unfortunately bandwidth to China mainland is sold at horrible prices (well above $10k per Gb/s) which leads to two choices:
A large provider who can afford (at all) and distribute those costs but usually carries all packets first to a big POP/IX, usually on the West-Coast and only there feeds it to a chinese carrier (hence adding >>200 ms latency from Asia). Part of this, basically a perversion, is that the chinese carriers seem to have very few POPs in the "near abroad" (read: the region) and e.g. LAX seems to be an entry to a lucrative market.

A "premium provider" actually does buy BW, again at insanely high prices, directly from a China mainland carrier, but then of course also has to ask really high prices from their customers as well.
So, I guess, OP / TimKLX's best (of very few reasonable) option is to find such a "premium provider" and hoping for a "mercy deal" (because his modest specs are not what that kind of provider typically offers).
Consider leveraging regional connectivity around China—such as IIJ or SoftBank in Japan, KT in Korea, or Singapore peering with CMCC, China Unicom/Telecom. From a cost-efficiency perspective, these are usually superior choices.
Tier 1/2 network, like GSL,LUMEN cross to china routes, ping low.

On the other hand, if top-tier stability and corporate reputability are your main criteria, deploying on domestic hyperscalers like Alibaba Cloud or Tencent Cloud would be the way to go.
