cPanel DNS only is quite easy to install, literally a few simple commands. See the install instructions here:
http://docs.cpanel.net/twiki/bin/view/AllDocumentation/InstallationGuide/InstallingCpanel
You don't need a huge server, a 256MB VPS will work fine for a basic server. See the cPanel docs for information about setting up a cluster:
http://docs.cpanel.net/twiki/bin/view/AllDocumentation/WHMDocs/ConfigureCluster

There is no advanced command, just install it following cPanel documentation, configure cluster (simply adding IP and remote key), and you're done.
This is one of mine serving ~200 DNS entries, running on 128MB RAM and 5GB disk.
Thank you very much for your nice help.
All is clear now
Depends on the number of zones, the frequency of updates, and the number of queries.
Without much more information it's impossible to be more specific
For small clusters 128mb RAM/ 128mb SWAP for the install then scale the VPS up as load increases ...
And one more, you can only use DNSONLY in cluster mode if you already own a full Cpanel/WHM licence. That's written down in the documentation.
