Seeking dedicated server with 256GB RAM, 4TB SSD
Hello,
I'm looking for the following dedicated server:
- 10+ core CPU, ideally at 2.5Ghz+ (older Xeon E5 is fine)
- 256GB RAM or higher (ideally 384GB)
- 4TB SSD/NVMe storage. (Can compromise here - some HDDs + 2TB SSD would be okay)
- Very little bandwidth usage, even 20TB/mo would be really overkill. 1Gbps port is fine.
- Single IP is all I need.
- Ideally in Europe, but US is also okay
- Looking for a reliable long term provider, willing to commit to 12 months (after a bedding in period)
I'm targeting around 120 USD/mo.
I've found a few historical offers here that match the specs, but they've long since expired it seems.
The RAM is the key thing. This is for a side project that is very heavy on RAM usage (it heavily uses the OpenStreetMap database, which is close to 90GB by itself). Since it's a side project, my budget is tight. Happy to share details of the side project (it's for discovering new running routes).
Thanks in advance!

256GB RAM, 4TB SSD, 20TB for 120 USD?
Must be one hell of black friday deal.
They do exist, albeit with older CPUs (obviously not anything DDR5). For example, https://crm.rebelhosting.net/cart.php?a=add&pid=788, but the hosting provider gets pretty awful reviews.
Happy to go up a bit if need be.
Would you consider a VDS?
Sure!

Would 128gb ram and 4tb work? If so we can do it at your $120 monthly, it will include a 10gbps port with Unmetered bandwidth. Located in NY.
Sadly not, the 256GB RAM is a must for my use case. Feel free to suggest an extra cost, I can go up a bit for something that fits perfectly.
