OVH VPS-1 2025 (or was it 2026) in SBG

I'm going to let expire my VPS-1 in SBG6 from the time when RAM was cheap and AI was just for making silly pictures on Dall.E to amuse your coworkers. I've replaced it with the new VPS-1 because I prefer cheap over performance.

It is equivalent to what is now (2027) known as a VPS-2 except for the network.
8 GB RAM.
4 cores.
75 GB storage.

OVH raised the renewal price to 72.24€ (+VAT).
The price for the new VPS-2 is 86.52€ (+VAT).

What can you do with an extra 14.28€ (+ delta VAT) in this economy? Well next to were I live this buys you half a Peking duck in a styrofoam box.

The VPS is on a French account which means it can be transfered to an european account.

It renews on August 7th. The price for the transfer is 0 (zero) euro. That's a free VPS for a few days right here.

Here's a YABS for your convenience. For some reason YABS hides the geekbench thing but there's a link. And the storage is fucked up because YABS sucks at BTRFS subvolumes. It just does. It's not a Fedora problem. The real number is 75GB.
