Could it be that the monthly bandwidth allotment is accrued in daily increments? So it won't let you consume the whole month of bandwidth in 1 day or 1 or 2 weeks?

That might explain why the overage charges are decreasing, also, as the bandwidth allotments are accrued.

    Maybe you're right,.

I think I may have figured out how this billing system works.

A bill is issued on the first day of each month, and then the system estimates the next month's bill based on your average daily usage.

If the estimated monthly bill exceeds $30, the account gets locked, and you have to pay the bill before you can continue using any of the features.

If you stop using the server afterward, your average daily usage will gradually decrease, so the estimated bill for the following month will also keep going down.

This is the only reasonable explanation.

If this is really how it works, then it's a terrible system—especially because it requires users to pay for usage they haven't actually incurred yet, and locks their accounts if they don't pay.

I still don't understand why you won't post the invoices, but whatever. Also, that you don't understand the billing you've signed up for.

What's even worse is that once the account is locked, you can't use any features at all, including submitting a support ticket.

As per their website, you just send them an email if you can't make a ticket. You're being facetious because it's actually YOUR fault with some sort of account swap shenanigans. Don't mislead people.

First of all, I have already acknowledged that I do not fully understand Karvl’s billing system. In fact, that is the entire reason I made this post—to discuss how unclear the billing system is to me.

I also posted a screenshot of the bill above, which showed a balance of $21.54. I checked it again just now, and the current amount has changed to $19.03.

And I am clearly not the only person who finds Karvl’s billing system confusing. Another person in the replies said that even after using Karvl for six months, they still do not understand how the billing works.

Second, I did not create another account to engage in any kind of “account swapping” or to bypass the rules. I created it solely because my original account was completely locked and I could not access any of its features, including the support ticket system. After I used the second account to submit a support ticket, that account was deleted as well.

It's like this: a vendor agreed to supply 300 apples a month for $150
You took 200 on a single week. Then, he write that you owe him around 125 apples for $500. You make complaints at apples trading community, one day later, it was said you owe him 115 apples for $460

I think we should give him oranges instead.

  • Oh right, I forgot you don't have the emailed invoices because it was a sold account.

  • If the service is cheap and the support is poor, no one will dare to use it.This is not the case anymore, the service may be unfairly priced and may fall.
