Dedicated server request
Hi LET,
I am currently looking for a dedicated server that meets or exceeds the following minimum specifications:
- CPU: 10K+ or 2x 5K+ GB6 score
- RAM: 256GB
- Storage: 2TB+ NVMe
- Network: 1Gbps+ (10Gbps preferred)
- Location: Tokyo or LA
- Features: Full IPMI console access required
- Pricing under $150/mo
I may be asking for too much, but if you have any available offers that fit these requirements, please let me know the monthly pricing, server location, and bandwidth limits (if any).
Thank you!

With the memory shortage, that is very aggressive.
256GB of DDR5 is >$4000 USD now. Maybe DDR4 is cheaper, but not exactly affordable.
Dedicated dedicated or you are fine with Virtual Dedicated?
Not a requirement what so ever. Looking at the listed requirements, a machine with DDR3 like a dual E5-2697 v2 would be sufficient. That should be possible at this price, the only question is, if someone has stock.
@ColoCrossing
I'm not sure if many hosts still have these CPUs; they might have been sent to recyclers or put on eBay.
Hi guys, thank you for your replies!
Yup RAM/SSD pricing has gone insane
currently looking for dedicated, but please do give a quote though.
Yup got a Dual E5-2690v4 + 256GB for ~$120/mo so I was wondering if I could get something similar
I'll go have a look at ColoCrossing as well. Thanks!
@sanvit QuickPacket can offer the following in LA:
Dual Xeon E5-2690v2
256GB RAM
(2x) 1TB SATA SSD
1Gbps Unmetered
/31 IPv4
/64 IPv6 (on request)
$149.99/mo
If you're interested, please DM me or open a sales ticket on our website. Thanks!
They’re around here all the time. The portal isn’t modern, at all, I would wait for a reply if i were you.
How much bandwidth do you need?
As for RAM, are we able to lower the ram? 256GB DDR5 ram is hard for us to deliver at $150/month.
I don't need much bandwidth maybe 2-30TBish (egress only)?
For this specific request, I would rather prefer servers with older but more RAM, however if you could do something in the $3-50 range, please DM me as I may have another use case (need nested virt)
Ah okay,
sadly we can't support nested VZ on the hypervisors due to the zerodays that are being created. GLWR!
