$30/month is a lot for just 6 TB/month traffic. You can pick pretty much any provider.

One of my favorite providers is https://advinservers.com/. They are cheaper than $30/month but they are reliable.

Yes, there's dedicated server, but you have to state the spec firsts beyond the 5TB requirements e.g:

• audience
• number of viewers
• available encoding, quality, transport layer
• archival

A big KVM VPS with lots of traffic, good performance and located near your customers/audience for $30/month could serve you well and is not too hard to find. I'm confident several providers could sell you one if that is what you want.

If a standard server isn't powerful enough, I'm worried there will be frame drops and lag, and that CPU and memory usage will spike.

I would check the providers fair use too as some get a bit unhappy if cpu is in high use consistently, you could try a VDS too your less likely to have issues regarding cpu use

Yes, some service providers don't allow prolonged CPU and bandwidth usage, so I'm looking for a dedicated server or a KVM server with full access rights.
