Looking for DirectAdmin shared hosting with working NGINX Unit support
Hello everyone,
I’m looking for a DirectAdmin shared-hosting provider that has NGINX Unit properly enabled and usable for customer accounts.
Just saw here that some providers do offer it ![]()
I have subscribed to few providers, including HostBrr, Advin Servers, and Limitless Hosting, but their DirectAdmin installations do not appear to offer working NGINX Unit access.
My requirements are fairly simple:
- DirectAdmin shared hosting
- Working NGINX Unit integration
- Support for major nginx unit apps; Python, Node.js, Java, Ruby applications
- A reasonable LowEndTalk/LowEndBox-style price, preferably an inexpensive annual plan
- Any location is fine
I am specifically looking for a provider where someone has actually deployed an application using NGINX Unit. Having the menu visible in DirectAdmin but disabled or unusable would not be enough.
Does anyone know of a provider offering this? Providers are also welcome to mention their plans and resource limits.

Comments
Looking for it as Unit does support ASGI apps like; FastAPI; among many other.

Update: Apparently Hostslim does support it; but I am honestly not sure if I should purchase them or not
Asking here in the meantime.
Will wait for a while before pressing the buy button; still looking for other providers which when I search on Lowendtalk doesn't show complaints only
To be honest i'd guess hosts usually avoid enabling this due to the potential headache it's likely able to create for them. I mean, depending on how locked down their php installations are there might be alternative ways to do the same but even if those aren't also disabled shared hosting isn't really about running arbitrary scripts and all that. It's about hosting websites only thereby reducing complexity a lot, which is why it's usually so cheap. If you want to run scripts i'd highly recommend to just get VPS instead.
