Is not open by default. You have to call them to have it open but they will open without any other questions.

  • yeah in my case i cant call them bc they dont have support on my country > @Andru said:

  • But...why? They have shit IP reputation anyway.
Unless you intend to spam, in which case it's understood why you are avoiding phones.

Those online blacklist checks are pure obsolete bullshit from 2010, it indicates nothing.
Try sending from those ranges to Gmail/Outlook and see the results.

  • What about buying a simple voip using https://jmp.chat or others?

Also how is the IP reputation of Ionos? @luckypenguin suggests its bad but @Andru says its clean.

I would like to know more some reasons behind why someone would wish to use Ionos vps port 25 while going through such incredible friction of calling. What use case justifies this that I might be unfamiliar with?

No issues so far... They emails are sent just fine. VPS'es are running directadmin with default installation configs (smtp wise).

Why do you need port 25? Alternatives:

    465
    587
    2525
    2587 (aws ses)

No need for 25. Are you wanna be dirty boy?

Unless you want send email to gmail or other mail server directly without using external service, based on my understanding Port 25 is a must
