OVHcloud VPS Order Stuck on "Preparing Your Order" for 40+ Hours – Unable to Contact Support

shihab26shihab26 Member

Hello everyone,

I am looking for advice from other OVHcloud users who may have experienced a similar situation.

I placed a VPS order on June 19, 2026, and my payment was successfully validated. However, more than 40 hours have now passed and the order is still showing "Preparing your order."

Order timeline:

19 Jun 2026 08:27:14 – Preparing your order
19 Jun 2026 08:27:13 – Payment validated
19 Jun 2026 08:24:10 – Order accepted
19 Jun 2026 08:24:08 – Your order is being confirmed
19 Jun 2026 08:23:38 – Your order is being processed
19 Jun 2026 08:23:38 – Your payment is being validated
19 Jun 2026 08:12:58 – Create your order

What is even more frustrating is that I have been unable to contact support. Every time I try to access the support ticket section, I am logged out or redirected, making it impossible to create a support ticket. The website indicates that live chat support agents are available at all times, but I have been unable to reach any agent or obtain assistance through live chat.

I understand that delays can happen, but what concerns me most is the complete lack of communication. If there is a provisioning issue or delay, customers should at least receive an update or estimated timeframe.

Has anyone here experienced a VPS order remaining in "Preparing your order" for this long? If so, how long did it ultimately take before your VPS was provisioned?

Any advice or information would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Just wait till 7 days, and that goes to pre-order territory which should be clearly stated.

    Support redirects weirdly at times

Try using incognito and/or change country codes on the support link

I solved this in the past

But for this a ticket won’t help

It’ll take the time it takes

    Thank you for the information.

If provisioning can realistically take up to 7 days, I believe that should be clearly stated before purchase. When customers order a VPS, they generally expect it to be provisioned within minutes or at least within a reasonable timeframe.

My main concern is not only the delay itself, but also the lack of communication. More than 40 hours have passed, I have received no updates regarding the status of my order, and I have been unable to create a support ticket or reach support through live chat.

I completely understand that delays can happen, but keeping customers informed would make the experience much less frustrating.

    Thank you for the suggestion.

Unfortunately, I have already tried using incognito mode, different browsers, and different support links. The issue still persists.

What happens is that when I try to access the support ticket page, I am redirected to the login page. After logging in successfully, I am automatically logged out again and redirected back to the Help Center. If I try to access support once more, the same process repeats. I have been stuck in this login/help center loop and have been unable to create a support ticket.

At this point, my VPS order has been in "Preparing your order" for more than 40 hours, and I still have no way to contact support or get an update on the status of my order.

I appreciate the suggestion, though. I'm hoping someone from OVHcloud or another user who has experienced this exact issue can provide a solution.

I understand that a support ticket may not speed up the provisioning process itself. However, my main concern is the lack of communication and the fact that I have no way to obtain information about the status of my order.

Out of curiosity, based on your experience, how long did it take for your VPS or server to be provisioned when you encountered a similar situation? Mine has now been in "Preparing your order" for more than 40 hours, so it would be helpful to know what timeframe other users have experienced.

    @shihab26
Is this your first order? If yes, that will trigger delays.

That said, ovh has historically proven to have not so fast support. It would be worth considering that before deciding to use it for anything critical.

Regardless of the provider, if data is critical, it is customers' responsibility to maintain up to date backups even if the provider offers . If uptime is critical, the customer is responsible for maintaining a plan B / DR should something happen where the service is not responsive and support takes an unusually long time to respond.

    Good luck
