I noticed the CPU spec is a downgrade compared to the previous offer. Why would you release better hardware first? Shouldn't you have cleared out the older stock first?

Hi, we don't have many in stock of these 1240v1 so we've decided to add them as a limited flash offer once we saw the demand for the $99 1240v3. From a cost standpoint, reducing the 1240v1 below $99/year just isn't realistic.
