Deluxhost: Server Deleted by Mistake? No Fix After 5 Days

Hi guys,
I wanted to share my experience with Deluxhost.net.
In November 2025, I purchased a W-3 VPS for €23/year, which was a great deal. The server performed well, so in March I ordered an additional “STORAGE-2” VPS.
Unfortunately, the storage performance was extremely poor. Transfer speeds on the HDD storage were allways between 1–3 MB/s. I opened a support ticket and was asked to provide more information. I monitored the performance for about a day, collected logs and benchmarks, and submitted everything they requested.
The ticket was then closed without any reply.

Because the server was basically unusable with those storage speeds, I decided to cancel the STORAGE-2 VPS.
Given my experience with support, I also decided to cancel the W-3 VPS, but only at the end of the current billing period (November 2026). Instead, the server was cancelled and deleted immediately.

I contacted support again. They said they would investigate the issue, but the ticket was closed once more. After reopening it, they apologized and escalated the case to their billing department.

At this point, I’m being asked to wait for billing/accounting to look into the issue, while my server remains deleted.

Has anyone else experienced something similar with Deluxhost?

Pros:

  • Good performance on the W-3 VPS
  • Very affordable pricing

Cons:

  • Extremely poor storage VPS performance
  • Support tickets closed without resolution
  • Cancellation request appears to have resulted in immediate deletion of the server
  • Slow handling of what should be a technical restoration issue
