    what's prelease.

  • I don’t have a lot of faith in Cloudnium - supposedly the Irving location was launching 11/1/25 and that didn’t happen. Sales was adamant it would launch on time.

Then, my San Angelo collocation order was cancelled months ago due to circumstances out of their control supposedly.

    Hello,

San Angelo was our decision to cancel—the facility didn't meet our standards, and we weren't willing to put clients at risk. We should have communicated that better at the time.

Irving missed 11/1 due to construction delays—our GC is working through it, and we're now in the final stages.

    Thanks for your understanding.

We are interested in viewing the facilities for our second Dallas location; we are considering returning to Hivelocity, but if we see the facilities and can reach an agreement, we are looking for a full rack.

  • @Tang_Lichun Does Cloudnium now provide a secure means for IPMI access to a colocated box?

Sales and support last year indicated they did not and to just use one of the /29 IPs and configure it on the IPMI (which isn’t secure for lots of reasons) - has that changed or is it still your approach?

Potentially towards the end of summer depending on what the quote comes back for renewal.

Currently, our approach remains unchanged—we still use the last IP in the /29 subnet for IPMI access. That said, I've flagged this issue to our team as a priority, and it will be changed in our new portal.
