I think this is what I am talking about.

I mean, thanks to the forbidden magic called IP spoofage (scary) I wasn't really gone this time around.

    That's every war.

Yeah, kind of but usually there is at least a certain amount of seriousness. Like parties having actual goals and therefore having some interest in fulfilling those goals, which makes stuff like talks matter. Here you don't really have any kind of defined goal (sure there are bunch of stated goals but they are all obvious nonsense) and people who spew out streams of random bullshit when the end result is already clear: A ton of suffering for the people in Iran and indirectly the rest of the world. That's it. Plain and simple. Anything else wasn't much of an option basically the whole time.

I'm old enough to remember Iraq's "weapons of mass destruction" or crying daughters of ambassadors in disguise telling fairy tales about soldiers taking babies from incubators and throwing them to the ground including the resulting wars. Sure, the claimed reasons were 100% bullshit and the results brutal but it still followed some kind of basic rationale (not to mention the amount of public opposition those wars got but that's another topic). This thing here is just "LOL, lets bomb Iran!" and a bunch of "Try to look like we have a plan!" while gaming the markets.

I could easily go into the details but i'm just very, very bored with the whole situation (also thinking about it just pisses me off without changing anything in regards to the fallout i'll have to tank). In any case the amount of clown show is really off the charts here and that's even in comparison to the massive amount of lies and stupidity that many historical wars were surrounded by.
