Any hosting companies looking for a summer intern?
Hello, my name is Ben and I am based in Virginia, close to Ashburn and Reston.
I am a soon-to-be high school graduate looking for an internship in server hosting this summer. I have a deep passion for everything to do with game servers and server hosting. I also have some hands-on experience in the field.
I have done work for:
WasabiHosting: Spearheaded their US expansion, doing work such as server builds, bench testing, and customer support.
PineHosting: Created game server templates for customers to buy and instantly deploy.
My long-term goal is to build a career in the hosting industry, specifically with game servers, so I am trying to gain as much experience as possible, especially this summer. Ideally, I am looking for an in-person or hybrid internship, as I would love to make some connections in the industry while gaining valuable experience.
I am available throughout the summer starting early June.
Feel free to reply here or connect with me on LinkedIn.

I suspect your location would disqualify you, but perhaps have a look at http://jobs.mythic-beasts.com/ (either the "full" challenge or the student challenge). Worst case you'll probably find it interesting :-)
@itsTomHarper loves game servers as well and is accustomed to summer hosting.
Good luck!

Come to the local Code & Coffee meetup and you’ll find people hiring related roles.
There are monthly events in Washington DC, Alexandria VA, and George Mason University.
Hello,
While I'd love to offer you a summer internship at the official host of summer, legally I cannot for the next 3 years after what I will only refer to as 'the incident'
Best of luck in your search

Perhaps there's a lucrative future launching Minetest servers on Slow Servers?
I'm sure you'll have a number of good options here.
Thanks for the advice, I will for sure take a look!
