OwnCloud seems pretty neat!
I just found this open source application called OwnCloud, seemed pretty neat for file backups, and it sounds like they will be having a application for computers coming out soon.
It looks like it uploads pretty quick, and allows public sharing of files. I have no idea about RAM or CPU usage on a virtual server but we should see how low end we can get it to run.

Repost police lol.
Never searched it I didn't know it was not new lol
Yep does not really matter bro. Never heard of it before ... but I like what I see. About to inquire for service provider license
Yeah I just tried it this evening and it is pretty nice, Having a hard time with Webdav from my windows work laptop but too tired to look into it
I use Ajaxplorer a lot and I have to say I like both. Owncloud is simple, super fast and quick to use.
I wish they would have a better upload system though (from the gui) and I also wish they had short urls for sharing files (ajaxplorer uses a bit.ly api to use your account)
Nice potential though. I really like the simple quick interface!
I still hate the word cloud though
That does look rather cool, I wonder if I convert the RPM to a DEB it will still work.
