Question for providers: is WHMCS plugin worth investing in?

euronodeseuronodes Member, Host Rep

We have a few requests from resellers but never seriously considered it. Now resellers just get a monthly cut of their client's invoices, but thats peanuts. They know better how much they can charge and they prefer to double our prices than get 15% of low ones.

We are looking for direction, what first: full API or WHMCS/Plesk?

API looks to me like no-brainer, true.
But Im thinking about it from reseller POV - they often just want to plug into their existing WHMCS and be done.
I'm just curious about other providers experience, maybe API/plugin ratio etc.
And yeah, Host Rep already applied :)

Whatever you end up building needs to be constantly maintained.
