Hey Guys,
Interesting request but I'm after a Windows VPS with about 20GB of space although more i would not mind.
100mbps pipe would be fine but 1000 better.
I will be using it as a streaming radio station for a web site. I doubt it will use a lot of bandwidth.
Anyone help me out or know a provider.
Hi there, i may have a offer for you but it includes a 180day trail of Windows server 2012. How much ram are you looking for?
maybe 1GB ram
Hello, Romania will be fine? pretty good connection with europe including Germany

You know, you could've just commented or changed your other post instead of spamming the forum, hmm?
Point taken
i cannot delete
Have a look at Comsitec.
another note: you can't run consumer based OS on a server, ya know? drserver tried to do that but only realized it later on.
Actually i don't see a problem with running a consumer OS on a server, as long as you purchase a retail license for each instance of the OS. However this is quite expensive.
Other than potential stability issues I don't see why it would be a problem?
windows 7 isn't optimized for server usage but it should work.
Is it so? Because from the link here: http://www.windowsazure.com/en-us/pricing/licensing-faq/#
Under "Can customers run Microsoft Office and Windows 7 Client on Virtual Machines using License Mobility for Software Assurance?", It is said that
agreeable that it should work, but what I'm talking about is on the licensing side of the story.
You made that clear after my post.
and that is because you posted <60 seconds earlier than me? chill dude.
and it seems like it is as what @rds100 have said, you'd need to buy a VDA license for each instance which makes it not cost effective.
Readup: https://www.microsoft.com/licensing/about-licensing/briefs/win8-virtual.aspx
update: but it seems like it is not covered
http://www.microsoftvolumelicensing.com/Downloader.aspx?DocumentId=7206
so, that's why @drserver didn't do his super cheap winxp in the end, no?
What @wcypierre mentioned is correct.
There's no issue technically, but you can't do that from the legal perspective. As far as I know none of the MS licensing model allows client OS on VPS, including SPLA.

Merged two threads into one.
Are you looking for a VPS in the US? I can offer you a 1GB ram, 1 core, 40GB disk, 2TB bandwidth on a 1Gbps port in Dallas Texas for $5 a month.
i need to be able to run a virtual sound card within the machine is that possible for anyone?
Pretty sure you can ask your provider to add the driver for it to your KVM server for you
Perhaps Xen-HVM can do it too?
I would avoid Comsitec de because they won't give you your money's worth.
They won't answer tickets asking to get the VPS going but they weren't slow taking the payment for a year.
