Do you host your own DNS?

  • We host our DNS and our customer's DNS on a 13-node cluster made up of LEB offers from companies that participate here.

  • I thought about this one, and worked out a solution where I can host my customers DNS servers off my DNS cluster, they manage it through WHMCS for free.

Do you use a module of some sort?

Thinking about to try them out but cannot find how to register with them, did they close the door? 《--- Never mind, just found they don't offer service to my country.

Self hosted with bind9, works great..

  • dnsmadeeasy.com for everything I do. I have no desire to manage a nameserver, I do 5-10 million queries per month, it's fast, and it's super cheap.

  • Self hosted Bind9, Master and Slave setup on 2 different VPS. One in the US and other in Germany. Both VPS are low end boxes.
