200TB+ storage server
Hello friends.
I need a solution for content backup.
It will only be used as a critical backup: media, snapshots, databases, etc. Files that will only be downloaded in case of a catastrophe, which I hope won't happen.
Requirements:
200TB or more preferred.
500MB-1GBPS link.
I don't need robust hardware, just using rsync storage.
Location: no preference.
I was expecting something around $350-$450 per month.

You'd probably have to commit to a bunch of months for that to happen (outside of companies like Hetzner that just have that kinda hardware laying around).
@layer7 @fiberstate
@GorillaServers
maybe you can try Amazon S3 Glacier Deep Archive, $1/TB per month, but carefully read their policy, it's a little bit expensive to download your data back

@vipeweb
There you are. In case cheap but not crappy is your priority I don't expect you'll see any offers better than @labze.
If quality and reliability plus a reasonable minimum of HW is your priority then obviously pick @host_c.
Even at 1Gbps it's going to take 3 weeks to fill up those disks assuming you can even saturate that link, I think you're lowballing BW too much.
forget filling, imagine having to restore from backups and being down for almost a month.
@dataforest
200TB most likely means linux ISOs, not documents and databases. backup once, restore only when catastrophe.
It doesn't matter hugely though. If it takes 3+ weeks on 1Gbps and 2+ days on 10Gbps, it's obvious which is most useful.
He can just upgrade to 10gbps when the catastrophe comes, and keep it to 500mbps-1gbps until then to save costs. The op should take a look at pikpak. $8/month for 10TB storage. Stack to 200TB, use rclone to mount, and done.
Thank you all, I made the purchase with @NovaCloudHosting
I liked the price, I'm very grateful to everyone.
Pikpak has transfer quotas.
