Hello i signed up for 2host.com http://lowendtalk.com/discussion/20490/exclusively-by-2host-com-10gbit-fully-burstable-xen-vps-7-m vps just to give them a try but i am very much disappointed with their benchmark result.

10GBIT connection:-Absolutely not

Very poor IO speed.

Download speed from CacheFly: 27.8MB/s

Download speed from Coloat, Atlanta GA: 6.99MB/s

Download speed from Softlayer, Dallas, TX: 7.00MB/s

Download speed from Linode, Tokyo, JP: 1.91MB/s

Download speed from i3d.net, Rotterdam, NL: 41.8MB/s

Download speed from Leaseweb, Haarlem, NL: 40.9MB/s

Download speed from Softlayer, Singapore: 2.62MB/s

Download speed from Softlayer, Seattle, WA: 5.50MB/s

Download speed from Softlayer, San Jose, CA: 5.87MB/s

Download speed from Softlayer, Washington, DC: 10.7MB/s

I/O speed : 6.6 MB/s

i would agree that was disappointed i/o speed. ii never see lower i/o than that

it would better you submit ticket first before bashing them here
it could be someone in same node abuse their disk io

That's actually quite horrible results. But maybe there are having some ongoing issues on that node? Who knows?
Best thing is to contact them directly and ask them the reason for such benchmark result.
Dont forget to update this thread too.

I would send a ticket demanding a refund Lol.

Those are just poor results unacceptable!

even if they fix it after you send them a ticket it is just a matter of time before it goes downhill again.

We are currently working on enhancing our Network this is why you may experience restricted connections with some particular carriers.

Also they are asking me to give them my vps password so they can check IO problem.

What about I/O issues?

I think they have no idea why I/O is low so they are asking me to give them root password to check the problem.

They don't need your root-password. They should log-in from their node as they're supposed to do.

Here is the new I/O test they ran
Timing cached reads: 27582 MB in 1.99 seconds = 13883.66 MB/sec

Timing buffered disk reads: 248 MB in 3.13 seconds = 79.32 MB/sec

What do you guys think is it OK also they will fix the network issue and will let me know.

i would think 80MB/S I/O Speed is OK
Not fast but also not bad

For 10GBIT connection it is slow.Also it is their command test when i tested it was only 6MB I/O.
