Cloudflare Email Service: now in public beta
https://blog.cloudflare.com/email-for-agents/
Lots of AI BS that is legally required in every blog post these days, but tldr: $0.35 / 1k outbound emails + you need a paid Workers plan ($5/month).

Comments
you pay for email and also for workers, expensive.
Not only is the rate higher, we also need to pay our compute costs to them just to send emails
Can we use it for relay like mail.baby though.
This is very expensive in compare to ses.
Who is this new Cloudflare service intending to compete with?
Aws. Slowly, cf drifts away from cdn only.
Inertia. People who are already on Cloudflare and can't be arsed to use something else.
You can send them via Cloudflare API:
Just create a simple gateway that will expose SMTP, decode received data and send it via CF API (I already did that and it is working very well).
Edit: I also don't think that you need a paid plan to use that, you can have free workers plan with activated billing.
But still, very expensive ...
TL;DR:
"We'll do everything to have a finger in every pie on the interwebs."
Yeah feels like every announcement now has to be padded with AI buzzwords, but the actual takeaway is just “we added email and here’s the pricing”
$5 for worker, 3,000 included per month, then $0.35 per 1,000 emails
Looks like I'm sticking with my MXRoute 15$/3 years plan 😴
Does MXRoute do what this new Cloudflare email service is designed for?
Nowadays, Cloudflare is slow and laggy in the Asia region.
Yes, send transactional email without any AI stuff 😬
No, they don't. Fortunately.
It starts at $5 per month. NameCrane $75 lifetime plan suits me better.
You find the two services sufficiently comparable to each other that it comes down to price?
It makes no difference to me, and NameCrane is even more suitable for me.
No but its way cheaper, this is a low-end forum where people seeking for low-prices services.
