Need a SG/DE server/vps around 5-12$ with 2-4 CPUs, 4-8GB ram and 120+ NVMe for Game Server Hosting
I need a SG/DE server/vps around 5-14$ with 2-4 CPUs, 4-8GB ram and 120+ NVMe for Game Server Hosting and I have searched through many providers from Speedypage, Webhorizon, OVH, Hetzner, Layer, Hosthatch, Advin Servers, Orange Vps, Vibe Games, Tempest Hosting (path.net) sooooo on ....
Anyway, my biggest concern is the DDOS Protection it must be robust or excellent so that my game server will not be offline or null if someone attacks it (must be good at TCP/UDP filtering)
Any suggestion or recommendation??
$5-12.00 / Monthly
just comment if you have a excellent ddos protection and not interested on puny ones x_X
Thanks.....

You need to raise your budget really by quite a bit if you want customized/hands on DDoS filtering for game servers, and mention the game server you're running. I have a lot of people who run game servers, most are fine, but there's <5% that run some game/app that will be "taken down" by 10 Mbps of traffic because the software can't handle anything even though everything else is fine.
Vultr or DigitalOcean could be good for SG/DE, definitely check their DDoS protection features for game servers.
Yeah both are solid picks, but there’s a difference people overlook for game servers.
What game would you like to host?
At OVH I have received massive and huge DDoS attacks against the server where I host the game servers, and I never suffered any downtime or losses
Often, the DDOS is not targeting specifically your server. Realistically speaking, why would anyone want to specifically target your small game server? DDOS target typically is the service itself aka your host or large service provider with dedi server happen to be running in the same host as you.
Our TeamSpeak3 customers have received attacks upwards of 17Tbit/s peaks in the last 3 months, and the average max amount of online users (on a single one of these servers) is about 200 AFAIK.
Therefore, I'm pretty sure that even small entities are being targeted.
What's the reason? I guess only the attacker and god know.
I think you'll find it even at a lower price than you indicated; there are discounts almost everywhere right now.
Im hosting mu online game running on windows server os ......
Ahh im done with them ....
Mu online gamw which uses tcp/ udp ports
Honestly ovh decline and cancel my vps hosting due to ddos attacks so im done with them...
In mu online gamw rival private server take you down as fast as they could to stop competition.....
What filtering are you using path m gcore ? Etc?
I've using path , neoprotect and etc. The problem is soo many downtimes especially path.net
As said, they targeting the service and your customers just happen to be on your service. Heck, might not even specifically your service. It could be just they target your upstream, the specific pipeline. As long the IPs fall within the range of the scope of the network they want to bring down, they will use it.
ohh i see you got your point but honestly i cannot run a game server with soo many downtimes....
is very hard to get a VPS for do DDoS to other customers... what a really bad person, pls play fair
my game server got ddos attacked and ovh decision is to cancel my service and i have no clue that will happen .... is that fair ???
