  • @Taylor said: Try going to the upgrade page and not filling in any information and just clicking proceed it will tell you what you need to fill in and then do the promo code then your information worked for me. Also thanks OP :P

Thanks for the suggestion, just tried that. Alas no joy.
Only thing I can think of is original account is 2 months into a yearly paid basic plan and gets confused with the code added. If I try to upgrade and pay, this goes to next screen fine.

All is well though now as have 1 basic account with 9 months left, and a new business account with 12 months.

Originally signed up with Pindom just to monitor my monitoring nagios software, but this code is to good to let slip.

Thanks. Pingdom is my favourite uptime monitoring, they've got just a rock solid services (real business grade), also always upgrades and just sends an email to notify what is added/upgraded. :)

note: beware to start another free account to get promo with, becsue afaik it's against their TOS to have more than one free account.

  • anyone know how to get pingdom to work on UDP ports? I'm stuck at the part of "string to send" and "string to expect". Help!

    I didn't put nothing there :P

that's for tcp. For UDP you need to put the send and expected string.
