[WANTED] Budget NAT VPS - Europe - Sub $2/mo (Personal VPN Use)

Hi everyone,

I’m looking to buy a budget-friendly VPS or NAT VPS for a personal project. I want to be upfront: This will be used for a personal VPN (Wireguard or Xray). I'm looking for a provider that is okay with this type of traffic.

My Specs & Requirements:

Role: I am the Customer looking for an offer.

CPU: Minimum 1 vCPU.

RAM: Minimum 1GB.

Storage: 10GB+ SSD/NVMe.

Network: NAT IPv4 (at least 20 ports) OR dedicated IPv4 + IPv6 /64.

Location: Europe (Germany, NL, France, UK or Balkans).

Budget: Under $2 / month (Preferably $10-$15 paid yearly).

Expectations:

A working NAT script (if NAT) or easy IPv4 management.

Reliable uptime for VPN usage.

No "unauthorized" AI bots for support, please. :D

If you have a deal that fits, please drop it below or send a PM. Ready to buy immediately for a long-term setup.

Thanks!

Just go in offers section and you will find it. 12 euros/y in Germany . Since you did not specify bw req i guess 2TB is fine
Also rarecloud latest flash sale in easter megathread could be option.

Maybe you want to try out Scaleway's docker container, which offers free tier and there are 4 regions: France, Netherlands, Poland, and Italy. It should be very stable, though you have to choose a protocol-over-HTTPS.

i was gonna suggest tierhive.com but i don't see info about # ports on the site so not sure it would fit, but they are nat and do have 2 of your preferred locations. @backtogeek

there's often stuff under $20/yr posted here that isn't nat but i don't have any good vibes with any of them to recommend currently. the last 2 or 3 i've tried have all had issues of one sort or another.

Thanks, we do 4 ports and let you select the internal port forwarding.

I honestly dont understand why anyone needs 20, you dont even need 20 ports to run an entire cpanel server :) maybe thats just because 20 was the standard set about 10 years ago (probably by me) but if 4 is enough, yeah, TierHive can do that.(we will probably be moving to 5)

  • Thank you all so much for your suggestions!

Just wanted to give an update: I have already found what I was looking for. I bought a server from Chunkserve.

    For only €1.5/month, I got:

    1 vCore

    2GB RAM

    25GB SSD + 500GB HDD

    Dedicated IPv4

It is exactly what I needed. Thanks again everyone!

@Tierhive Thank you for the suggestion, and thanks to Zey for pointing it out!

Your pricing definitely caught my attention. I actually need exactly 5 ports for my current setup, but for these prices, 4 ports is quite an acceptable amount. I will definitely consider this and keep you in mind for a second machine in the future :)

Don't forget that is per instance, you get a /24 so you can forward internally from another micro instance which is only $0.10

I got the Netherlands storage package from them. It was advertised as 2GB RAM, but they actually provisioned a 1GB machine instead.

It wasn't a problem for my specific use case, but I don't know if this was just a mistake on my order or a general error with their setup.

If you are okay with potentially getting 1GB, other than that, I am quite satisfied with it so far. For only €1.5/month, I think it is definitely a risk worth taking! 🐢

Hey there! Looking for a budget VPS for your personal VPN in Europe, got it.

While we don't offer NAT VPS, our standard VPS plans come with a dedicated IPv4. Our entry-level plan in European locations like the UK or Bulgaria is slightly above your target budget, but offers great performance for VPN usage:

    • 2 vCPU (AMD Ryzen)
    • 4 GB RAM
    • 40 GB NVMe SSD
    • DDoS Protection
    • Free Backups
    • Starting at $2.99/mo

Feel free to ask if you have any questions — happy to help!
    Best regards,
    Rabisu

    There's nothing even remotely close??

$1.5 gives 15 GB NVMe, no HDD?

EDIT: Aaah; well hidden - https://billing.chunkserve.com/index.php?rp=/store/netherlands-storage-vps
    0 available ATM though

Hello, sorry to bother you after such a long time :( I purchased 4 VPS services from you and I am quite satisfied with your services. However, I encountered this error while trying to add funds to my balance this month. Could you please help me?
