5TB Storage VPS EU 100 EUR/year?
Hi,
I am looking for an off-site backup solution. My current data is around 1.3TB, but I want a 5TB plan to cover my needs for the next couple of years.
Requirements:
Virtualization: KVM only. No LXC or OpenVZ.
CPU: 1-2 vCores.
RAM: 2-4GB.
Storage: 5TB total. I prefer a setup with a small SSD for the OS and HDD for the data, but I am open to other configurations.
Location: EU only (Germany, Netherlands, etc.).
Budget: Around 100 EUR per year.
Payment: Yearly billing preferred.
Usage: Personal off-site backup, maybe some private share for friends.
If a KVM VPS is not possible within this price range, I will also consider a reliable Storage Box.
Any chance to something like that in this budget?

i remember @layer7 done something similar for 80€
there is one in service transfer, in total you might pay 40 to the him/her, then pay the renewal 50 few days later. yearly @ 50/year.
Warning: Since it is service transfer, the risk were high, so make sure the host were OK for the transfer & the other party were real owner of said package.

Their Storage VMs seem to be available and they are a very reliable and solid provider.
Caveat - they use BHYVE (which is more or less equivalent to KVM).
