Status page software?
I'd like to deploy a small monitoring software with a status page to keep an eye on the servers inside my Tailnet. I just need it to be able to support ping, HTTP and TCP requests, send alerts via email and have a minimal footprint as it will be running on a small VPS (1 vCore / 1 GB RAM). There seems to be a lot of options out there so I'd appreciate your recommendations please ![]()

You're very welcome!

Finding something low-resource for a tiny VPS is smart since some tools eat up RAM fast.
Heard good things about Pulsetic lately for keeping it simple and light. You can check them out here: https://pulsetic.com/ if you want an easy setup.
I leave a browser tab open to kuma and it absolutely eats memory, is it just me?
I've done this before but I didn't notice the memory thing, and same with Beszel 🤔

I strongly recommend HetrixTools (aff/non-aff), if you register through the affiliate link you'll get 3 extra Uptime Monitors & 16 extra Blacklist Monitors towards your maximum monitor limits!
Self-hosted: UptimeKuma, Beszel
Hosted: HetrixTools

UptimeKuma is great. I use it with a custom integration now (see https://extravm.com/status)

I usually have customers/ users holler at me for downtime and then I get the server fixed
This man is running a REAL business
There is a way to use github action/github pages to get hosted uptime essentially for free.

hope this helps anybody out there.
Wow fancy, I hope that was fully vibed
Gotta make the most of that $100/m sub.
To be fair the sole customer here is myself :P I'd rather know when Immich, Seafile and/or the server that I run them on go(es) down, especially if it happens in the middle of the night so that I can at least have a quick look at what's going on before heading off to work.
Looks like a great tool, thanks for the tip.
You could simply check b4 hitting bed or once you wake up... win win for all
