Once again, I wanted to share my recent experience with CloudCone regarding an abuse ticket, and honestly, it’s been quite frustrating.
I received a notification that my server IP was blacklisted by Spamhaus due to suspected spam activity. I completely understand the seriousness of such reports and was ready to cooperate fully to resolve the issue.
However, the way CloudCone handled the ticket has been disappointing.
First, there has been no real resolution so far. The ticket feels stalled without any meaningful investigation or outcome.
Second, the response I received was very generic — just a list of possible reasons like unsolicited emails, poor list hygiene, compromised server, etc. There was no concrete or specific information related to my server, which makes it difficult to take the right corrective actions.
Third, there have been no progress updates at all. No status, no follow-up, no indication that the issue is actively being worked on. For something as critical as an abuse report and blacklist, this lack of communication is a big concern.
I’m not saying their infrastructure is bad, but the support experience in this case has been far from acceptable. When dealing with abuse reports, I would expect:
Clear identification of the root cause
Specific guidance tailored to the case
Regular updates on progress
Right now, it just feels like a copy-paste reply and no real support behind it.
I asked them to provide evidence such as activity logs, but I haven't received any response.
It's been 16 days and there's been no response or information provided.
After this experience, I wouldn't dare use their services again.

Yeah they really should be more communicative. I got something similar (albeit from a different provider) when that provider's entire /24 got blacklisted and they must have assumed that it meant that each person on that /24 individually did something wrong and accused me of "sending spam email" (I don't think port 25 was even open).

Are you sure it's Cloudcone or a bot? The problem is there's no timeline for fixing or resolving the issue. Do you understand the problem?
I checked the URL you sent and Spamhaus, everything seems fine. But they're still silent and not bothering to resolve the issue.

Previously, all of my VPS servers were hacked and I lost all my data. I didn't complain then, but now I find them completely irresponsible.
