It seems there's no option to explain things - only to return a refund. Damn annoying. They most likely know that and abuse the system to boost their reputation on PayPal.
And now I’m the one who will look bad… damn f***ers!
paypal said its optional didn't they?
WHEN THEY WILL START RESPONDING
No reason to return the refund if they're trying to game the system.
Their terrible reputation on LET remains...
@Mumbly
The owner of AvenaCloud is not a scammer. He is a Senior Network Administrator and IT.
The whole situation is very strange. Something serious may have happened, but it’s “impossible” to confirm.
I’m not going to make any promises, let alone swear to anything. But the owner of AvenoCloud has never given anyone cause for complaint. Yes, it’s no secret that the owner of AvenoCloud worked at Alexhost for many years. Other than that, there doesn’t seem to be any reason for anyone to complain about him. . However, according to the rumors going around that he died (?). I don’t know where they got that information, but they should clarify its source. Still, it’s “not possible” to confirm.
What I can say is that he might be in the hospital or have traveled. We’ll just have to wait and see. However, it’s worth noting that the owner of AvenaCloud has never given anyone cause for complaint, nor are there any suspicions of anything like that. Not to take anything away from him or anything like that.
Given his reputation, I highly doubt it’s a “scam,” but I can’t promise or swear to it. Something happened.
That’s all.
what
It doesn't really make a difference from a business point of view.
The service had been paid on time, there were several attempts to get in touch with the host, then suspension and then termination, because of non-payment.
After termination, I opened a case with PayPal and got my money back. Then, some time later, PayPal sent me a notification that the seller claimed I had received the service and asked if I wanted to return the refunded money. Of course, there's nothing to return, it can't be, as they terminated/deleted the VPS, and there seems to be no one to take care of things. My AvenCloud account no longer has any active services.
And I'm not the only one, as it seems from the posts above. So what more can be said here? That company owner used to be cool? Maybe, but it really makes no difference now.
I don't know if you're aware, but the owner always replies to the thread. This time, he didn't reply to the thread. Plus, he's not just some random guy.
Plus, there are a lot of people saying that tickets aren’t being answered.
And there’s another comment claiming that the “owner died”…
I can tell you that something’s wrong. It’s not normal for it to take this long to respond to a ticket, especially these days.
Let’s wait and see if the owner responds. But maybe something happened to the owner…
can we ban this gibberish guy^
he was always replying his name is Tom - but surely something happened to him - he was the best
No shit, Captain Obvious, that's why he opened this thread. Are you all caught up now?
My avenacloud vm has been a brick since yesterday. No internet connectivity at all. Ticket is still sitting there with no reply
Mine went down around 3 h ago. Hmmm
My server also disappeared from monitoring since April 2, 2026, at 23:49:37. After troubleshooting, I found that I can still connect via VNC through the web backend panel.
It appears the IPv4 connection is malfunctioning, but IPv6 connectivity still works. However, because the default DNS servers are IPv4-only, this caused a complete network outage. After manually configuring DNS to use IPv6-compatible servers, I regained access via IPv6.
Crucially, I recommend backing up your data immediately via VNC while you still have access.
I've tried reaching them via email, support tickets, Telegram, Instagram, X (Twitter), etc. There seems to be no activity from Avena on any channel since March 23rd. This silence is concerning.
To protect yourself from potential risks, please prioritize backing up your data using VNC. Hope everything is okay with the Avena team.
Doesn't look good. Only 185.229.64.0/24 appears to have survived, all the rest of their prefixes are gone.

Maybe besides forgetting to answer tickets they also forgot to pay them bills
They don't appear to own that /24 either so it'll probably disappear too.
Dear clients,
We would like to provide an update regarding the current situation:
The issue with the upstream provider has been successfully resolved. At the moment, all IP addresses are being properly announced and services are operating normally.
Unfortunately, the company owner is currently hospitalized and is not able to provide the necessary access at this time, which limits our ability to fully process all client tickets and requests. As soon as his condition improves and access is restored, we will immediately proceed with resolving all pending matters.
We would like to clearly assure you that there is no fraud or deception involved. All your data remains safe and secure.
In the meantime, we will continue to support you within our capabilities and assist as much as possible, as well as support the company owner until he fully recovers and returns to work.
Thank you for your understanding and patience.
Best regards,
AlexHost Team
thanks - we you answer the tickets ??
Except for paid servers that got auto-suspended for non-payment and were terminated days later. Or paid servers that will be auto-suspended in the coming days and then terminated, right?
Also, what do you mean by "In the meantime, we will continue to support you within our capabilities and assist as much as possible" - it's not like you can actually do anything apart from PR damage control, or what?
did @alexhost comment clear anything up for the affected users? i confess i'm feeling a bit more confused but i'm just an intrigued bystander.
Nah, it was more like:
"The host terminated my VPS" and then he responded "Don't worry, everything's gonna be okay" - except that it won't, at least not for the affected users. This story is over.
thoughts and prayers
sincerely, alexhost
Honestly, there's not much they can do unless the downstream make arrangements with the upstream to manage the operation in case of unforeseen event, especially when a person becomes the single point of failure.
If customer are expected to have disaster recovery plan, then hosts should have business continuation plan
