Dedicated providers
Hey guys, I've had a 5950x/128GB/8TB(4TB raid 1) for 94$ from Hetzner for a while but a few apps/services I run their UI is really sensitive to latency (full roundtrip for a few interactions) so I was looking to moving the server to the US (which is closer to me), sadly Hetzner doesn't have dedicated machines in this side of the pond. So I was looking for alternatives maybe Interserver or Fiberstate for something comparable, but I'll be honest I have no experience with either one so I was curious if you'd recommend either one or maybe something else?

With Fiberstate Since August 2023 and 10/10 service till now.
Nice! Sadly they're apparently sold out
but I'll keep an eye on them
I would take a look at @PureVoltage @Ian_Dot_Tech
They are solid and good connectivity to the rest of the US from Dallas/NY.
They have similar dedicated servers to what you are looking for except it doesn't have the same drive capacity. So maybe they can add in it for you.

Also would not recommend interserver, they got cheap bw but from my experience their network is not good.
@concept Thanks for the mention!
Let us know if we can help.
Ohhh I'll take a look @concept, those seem really good. I don't oppose Xeon by default, just that I feel AMD has been waaay stronger/better this last few generations
yea AMD servers are in high demand so availability is limited and often higher priced
I have experience with neither of those, but had a good experience with GTHost. I am not sure if they have those specs at that price point, but they might.
@slowservers I am willing to go higher, I understand that in the US prices are higher but as long as they offer SLAs, and 24/7 support for the dedicated machines, itβs reasonable to go higher but also higher specs (Iβve seen some good deals for a 9950x from fiber stable but they are out of stock)
btw @1gservers I just you guys a PM with some questions about one of you offerings!
Responded. Thanks.
