Do you have IPv6 /64 and BGP session?
nice specs for the price. that nvme must be flying. just make sure your apps can actually use all those cores before you go all in. been there, done that with idle cpus crying in the corner.
Yes, we have v6 and v4 over our BGP
"That's a very aggressive price for a /25 assignment, especially with no setup fees. Is the IPv4 allocation included in the $199 permanently, or is there a justification process required via ARIN for the /25 right at the start?
Also, what's the network backbone like in Phoenix? Do you have direct peering with any major Tier 1 providers or is it mostly blended via the DC?"
Thanks for the questions — happy to clarify.
The /25 is included with the server at the listed price. We allocate from our own IP space and handle all allocation and justification on our side, so there’s no additional process required on your end to get started.
For larger allocations, we do review use case and utilization before assigning additional space.
On the network side, the base service is delivered over a Cogent-backed network in Phoenix, which performs well for general workloads. If needed, the service can also be upgraded to our protected / blended network for additional routing diversity and DDoS mitigation.
If you’d like, feel free to DM me or open a ticket on our site and I can go into more detail or get something provisioned for you.
honestly for $199 with a /25 ipv4 and no setup fees, this is one of the less sketchy deals i've seen lately. just make sure you actually need those 28 cores or you'll be paying for idle cpu while hetzner users cry about their single core performance
