DeluxHost refund still not sent after 2 months – VPS nodes unstable

I want to share my experience with DeluxHost because the situation has been extremely frustrating.

In January 2026 I purchased 10 VPS instances (VPS-1 plan). Almost immediately I started having serious connectivity problems. The servers would work for a few hours and then become completely unreachable from the network.

The VPS still shows powered on in VirtFusion and I can access the console, but the server cannot be reached from the internet. I rebooted the VPS multiple times and even rebuilt the operating system, but the problem keeps happening. After a few hours the VPS becomes unreachable again.

This clearly looks like a node or network issue on their side.

Because the service was unstable and unusable, I requested either replacement of the servers or a refund.

Here is the timeline:

Jan 28 – Ticket opened about the connectivity problem
Jan 30 – Support told me to cancel the services and said they would issue a refund
Feb 3 – They asked me to provide a crypto address for the refund
Feb 6 – I sent my wallet details
Feb 17 – Support said the refund would be processed that day

Nothing happened.

Now it is March 19 and the refund is still not completed. The latest response from them is simply that the refund is “being processed”.

At this point it has been more than two months.

Support responses have been slow and inconsistent. Sometimes there are long gaps without any reply, and when they do respond it is usually just a short message saying to wait.

I understand that delays can happen, but holding a customer’s money for more than two months after confirming a refund is not acceptable.

If anyone from DeluxHost sees this thread, I would appreciate if this refund could finally be completed. Otherwise I will continue sharing this experience so others are aware of how this situation has been handled.

    If you have paid via visa or mastercard you can issue a claimback request via ur bank. they will return the funds within one or two weeks, at max. 90 days if the hoster challenges the request, but this case seems crystal clear!

  • I want to post an update regarding my previous issue with DeluxHost.

    Shortly after I created this thread, the refund was finally processed and sent to the wallet address I provided earlier.

    To be clear, the refund took more than two months from the original request, which is why I decided to post about the situation here. However, after the thread was posted, the payment was completed.

    So the issue is now resolved.

    I still believe the refund process took far longer than it should have, and communication could have been handled much better. But at least the funds have now been returned.
