Need a small KVM VPS from an EU provider
Hi everyone,
I’m looking to move away from my current provider as they’ve been having repeated outages.
Just looking for a small KVM VPS with 1 vCore, 512 MB RAM, 10 GB NVMe and 100 Mbps traffic with 1 TB/month outbound. IPv6-only is fine.
Any location in the EU is okay (NL, DE or FR ideally), my only requirement is that the provider must be from an EU registered company.
Budget is $10 to $15 per year.
TIA!

I am not sure what you expect from a $10/year VPS.
I’m certainly not expecting a blazingly fast VPS that has 99.99% uptime with a SLA and instant customer service replies, but while I do expect that a provider overcharges their nodes at this price point I would like that at least my VPS doesn’t crash every few days from disk I/O errors from running something as lightweight as an IRC bouncer.
I know that VPS prices have drastically increased because of the AI bubble but I imagine that asking on LET for a VPS with the low specs I mentioned in my post is doable for $15/y. Please correct me if I’m wrong.

I really liked @forest 's comment from there so I suggest having the 11$/yr https://vpshostingservice.co/order/server-host-linux-vps-ssd/ssd-1gb (Use promo Code; 1ALEB)
@SKRIME also might help you (11.88€/year or 13.67$ approx yearly)
Both are European if I am not mistaken.
Tierhive is 55 cents per month. They have a Frankfurt location, but the company is registered in the UK.
Dasabo has an IPv6-only offer for ~80 cents per month:

Frankfurt location, Estonian company.
Would recommend Skhron @tentor
Hey miniopt,
Thanks for the mention @whynotlearn!
Our XEON 1G IPv6-only fits your requirements:
We're a German registered company based in Bavaria, infrastructure is in Eygelshoven, Netherlands. KVM based, NVMe in RAID 1.

Your welcome skrime. May I suggest having an affiliate program as in this case, I was genuinely shilling skrime and I was actually looking at your website to see if there is an affiliate program but I couldn't find any.
But that being said, Skrime does feel pretty interesting for certain use cases too :-) and we all appreciate the work done by lowendtalk providers for giving us the deals that we love so shoutout to all lowendtalk providers in general too 🫂
Hey @whynotlearn, we actually do have one! Check it out here: skrime.eu/affiliate
And thanks for the kind words, much appreciated!
Why you dont get IONOS or Strato if you dont want constant outages ? Their lowest are still 1 euro/month.
Just looked at, great! I have made an affiliate account here
https://skrime.eu/a/whynotlearn (I recommend them that if my affiliate helped them pick skrime then they can use my link as it might help me just a minor bit)
Just a question though @SKRIME that suppose I referred them and they wish to buy the 11.88 euro per year plan, then will I get 5 euros from credits too according to the:
as I would love to have some credit shilling skrime out haha :-)
Your welcome and I wish for you and also every lowendtalk provider to have a nice day, the community loves y'all for giving us so good deals sometimes not gonna lie :-)
Yep, the referred customer needs to make a single charge of at least 5.00€ for you to get the credit. So if they top up 5€ or more at once, you're good.
We're reworking the affiliate program soon though, so stay tuned for that!
Great, I am actually happy with the current affiliate system too haha
Hey, @miniopt if you use skrime, I would recommend you to use my affiliate link as it might help me out too and it doesn't hurt ya a bit but it would help me :-) https://skrime.eu/a/whynotlearn
Also Have a nice day everybody!
@whynotlearn I found out about @SKRIME in another thread and signed up immediately because they offer exactly what I need, so I'm sorry that I didn't get to use your affiliate link unfortunately. I appreciate your recommendation though, it's a good sign to me that they're getting some love from their customers.
I see but I had linked to you to that thread or it felt so and yea I do agree that I made the affiliate account later
In all regards, I am just happy that you got the server that you wanted anyways. Glad I could help ya!
(I am not a customer of skrime to be honest but I do still feel like vouching for them in your particular use case)
Anyways, In all regards, I am just happy that you got the server that you wanted anyways. Glad I could help ya in any meaningful manner!
