⚠️ Beware: ServerOptima Suspendeds Without Any Notice

We have been using ServerOptima (www.serveroptima.com) for several months.

Without any prior warning or notice, they abruptly suspended our server. When we asked for an explanation, we were given only vague, general reasons. Despite multiple requests, they have not been able to cite a single specific violation of their terms of service or any applicable law.

No warning. No notice period. No opportunity to respond. Just an immediate shutdown of a paying business account.

This caused real damage to our operations and our clients. If they can do this to us without justification, they can do it to anyone.

Before choosing ServerOptima, make sure you understand what protections you actually have as a customer — because in our experience, there were none.

So did you immediately enact your disaster recovery plan and restore your customers to the latest full backup so they experienced little to no interruption?

If the answer to that is no, any damage or issues with your clients is only a fault of your own.

In fairness, even if he did keep regular backups and restored them promptly, there's still a window of downtime and data loss that, multiplied over many customers, could constitute real damage.
