Over the past months, we went through real challenges: legacy hardware, downtime, and pressure that came with demand growing faster than expected. At the same time, we made conscious choices to keep prices extremely low, often at the very edge of sustainability, because we genuinely want to support this community.
RareCloud was built with the LET community in mind. We’re not here just to sell services. We’re here because we know how important affordable infrastructure is for people who are building projects, testing ideas, learning, or simply trying to get work done without enterprise-level budgets. Many of us have been in that exact position.
That’s why we’ve made sacrifices. We reinvest instead of maximizing profit. We’ve expanded the support team, upgraded a large part of the infrastructure, opened new locations, and we’re still actively modernizing the rest. This takes time, resources, and a lot of effort, especially at these price points.
We’re doing this in good faith and with long-term commitment. What we ask in return is not blind praise, but understanding and patience. And when something goes wrong, clear and honest feedback. That helps us fix things faster and improve for everyone.
If anyone feels impacted, please tell us exactly what the issue is. We will look into it, solve it where possible, and compensate when appropriate. We are listening, we are working, and we are here to stay.
Bought a Core VPS in HK #12749. Not only I had to open a ticket to get the server provisioned, but it was provisioned in Germany instead. I urgently need it re-provisioned to HK. This is some ridiculous stuff

P.S.: Sometimes, our security modules keep some random orders for manual review. A new colleague seen your ticket and in rush to provision your server, selected the wrong location.

No idea what surprises the Tokyo server will throw at me, but I went with the 4C8G plan anyway. The only downside? The RAM feels a bit… Tokyo-sized.

Support just ignoring me. Deny refund. Deny answer. It looks like I got scammed?
Let me tell you what is really going on with this provider.
First of all, they lie constantly. They keep promising to increase their support staff and speed up ticket response times, but if anything more serious than "adding 1GB of RAM to an order" happens, they disappear for two or three days. Not a single report regarding server downtime has been answered in a timely manner. All their responses follow the same pattern: "Oh, it’s been 24 hours and everything is working now, please check; we don't know anything, lol." I suspect they simply rent their equipment and lack any actual technical specialists to resolve hardware or infrastructure issues.
Then there are the locations. Two locations have already been severely impacted. First, the Netherlands, where the provider lost all client data due to a disk failure. Recently, they migrated their Germany location to a different ASN. During this migration, they spent three or four days updating their billing system; it was "fun" watching their database table errors stay up for hours. In the end, the servers they managed to migrate only worked with IPv6; they completely forgot about IPv4 (I understand there's a shortage, but still), making it impossible to connect to the servers.
I started a dialogue with their "technical support" last year, and I am still being fed promises and ignored. They claim some "mystical admin" will solve the problem, but so far, it’s just been "wait, buddy."
I cancelled all defective servers and requested a refund for the one paid at the end of November. Yes, a month has passed, but I motivated my request by the fact that I wasn't warned about the ASN change. The new one doesn't suit me—it’s worse—plus the server migration took a week and was riddled with problems. Naturally, I am not satisfied with such unprofessional service.
Of course, they refused the refund and offered to credit the time to another server instead. I initially declined because the provider is so unprofessional that it’s actually scary to work with them. Realizing my money was being held hostage, I eventually agreed to the time transfer, but this time I was simply ignored. Now I have no server, no money, and no extra time. I am being ignored and mocked with empty promises of a response.
